I like the way you present your blog it is really interesting, well use of web 2.0 tools, and I agree with you when you say people use their law in their own convenience or misinterpret the law according to their own interest, and unfortunately the ones who are supposed to protect the law and make it work became part of these people game and there is when they get protected. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI like how you presented. It was very interesting and informative. It is very interesting to know that in some of the cases, the students won on the of their First Amendment Right of Freedom of speech. But what if it was the other way around. What if they were in the position of administrator, would they have seen it the same way? I would not imagine so. Very good post Amcizar!
ReplyDeleteI loved the mode of presentation. Nice way to incorporate tools that we were exposed to. Good Job!!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting! What is your school's policy or the district policy on this issue?
ReplyDeleteI especially liked your mode of presentation - excellent job, while you spoke the images gave me a clear view of the topic under discussion. Your allusion to the 'criminals' being protected by the 1st Amendment had me smiling because those were my thoughts exactly. I found your definitions and interpretations interesting and informative. A very good link of the freedom of speech clause across the society. An excellent list of resources. Kudos Ancizar for a job well done. Web 2.0 tools at its best!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ancizar!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I am in Grammar class when listening to your definitions. In addition to your good court cases. Yes! You are right about a balance between "Freedom of Speech" and the use of "Untruths" that damage other people's reputation
Good Job!
Well done! Your presentation is very good.
ReplyDeleteYes it is very convenient how people USE the 1st ammendment for thier benefit. I think parents should take responsibility as well instead of playing the blame game.
Nice post! I too would like to know if your school has addressed this with a policy?
ReplyDeleteThe school has no policy regarding this issue. The whole county schools system has blocked all social networks and all mp3 streaming websites, as well as, youtube.I see this strategie as effective but I oppose the idea that teachers have the same access capabilities than a second grader! I mean, teachers should have access at least to youtube because I find some of the content in this website really pedagogic!
